Snack

The 7:45-3:30 school day is a LONG day!!  Your growing 7 year old will need a snack throughout the day.  In the past, 2nd grade ate lunch from 11:17-11:47; however, this year they’ll be eating lunch from 10:45-11:15.  That leaves over 4 hours left in the afternoon!

Please pack them something healthy, yet filling.  Some ideas include, but are not limited to: fruit, granola bar, popcorn, water or juice, baked chips, pretzels, carrots, Chex Mix.  Also, I allow bottle bottle of water to be kept on the top shelf of the locker throughout the day.

  • Please keep in mind that we have the following allergies in the class: blueberries

***ALTHOUGH WE DO NOT HAVE ANY STUDENTS WITH PEANUT ALLERGIES, WE HAVE A CHILD’S MOTHER WITH SEVERE PEANUT ALLERGIES AND WITH SIMPLY CONTACT OFF OF HER SON’S CLOTHING, SHE CAN BREAK OUT … SO, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, PLEASE AVIOD PEANUT PRODUCTS!
